How To Apply For Canton Fair Invitation Letter?

What is an Invitation Letter?

Prior to arrival, most nationalities must obtain a visa to enter Mainland China. Canton Fair provides Invitation Letter to visitors in order to help successfully apply and obtain a business visa.

An Invitation Letter could be issued by organizations or individuals. You could obtain the invitation from your existing suppliers. If you’re new and don’t have any existing supplier to lean back, you could apply for it on Canton Fair official website.

Why overseas buyers need to apply for an Invitation Letter?

As mentioned, an Invitation Letter helps overseas visitors secure a business visa.

Application of invitation letter is free of charge.

How to apply for Canton Fair Invitation Letter?

Please be noted that application for Invitation Letter is only available after application for Buyers Badge has been made. If you already been to Canton Fair, you don’t need to apply for Buyers Badge because the it is valid for 10 years.

Step 1: Enter Canton Fair BEST (Buyer E-Service Tool) through the link of http://invitation.cantonfair.org.cn/. Click into the section of “Apply for invitation letters”.

Step 2: Register a new account with your personal information.

Step 3: After activation of the new account, your should login the account.

Step 4: Complete:
A. personal information;
B. company information;
C. associate information, which required you to set the administration account and associate account of company.

Step 5: Pre-application for Buyers Badge.

Step 6: Once you submit the application for Buyers Badge, you could apply for invitation letter.  There are two optional types of Invitation: E-invitation or Paper invitation. (We recommend you to choose E-invitation which is expected to be issued in half a minute after you submit the application. Paper invitation would be sent to your address in around the end of February and will take about 2 weeks to reach your mailing address.)

Once you get the invitation letter, you could apply for a business visa to China.
