How To Apply For Canton Fair Invitation Letter?

From the 136th Canton Fair onwards, the Buyer E-service Tool (BEST) will be upgraded to the Buyer Service System on Canton Fair official website.

What is an Invitation Letter?

Prior to arrival, most nationalities must obtain a visa to enter Mainland China. Canton Fair provides Invitation Letter to visitors to help successfully apply and obtain a business visa.

An Invitation Letter could be issued by organizations or individuals. You could obtain the invitation from your existing suppliers. If you’re new and don’t have any existing supplier to lean back, you could apply for it on Canton Fair official website.

Why do overseas buyers need to apply for an Invitation Letter?

As mentioned, an Invitation Letter helps overseas visitors secure a business visa.

How much does it cost?

Application for an invitation letter is free of charge.

How to apply for Canton Fair Invitation Letter?

Please note that the Invitation Letter application is only available after the Buyers Badge application has been made. If you have already been to Canton Fair, you don’t need to apply for the Buyers Badge because it is valid for 10 years.

• If you have a BEST account:

Your account information has been transferred to the new system. Please log in with your existing account.

• If you don’t have a BEST account:

Please register in the Buyer Service System on the Canton Fair official website.

Your previous attendance information will be automatically uploaded to the new account as long as you link your Buyer Badge number to the new account.

Overseas Regular Buyers (who have attended the Fair onsite)

1. Register or log into the Buyer Service System on the Canton Fair official website and go to the homepage.
2. Click on “Invitation Letter” and then “My Invitation Letters” on the left-side menu bar.
3. Click on “Apply for Invitation Letter” on the upper right of the page.

Overseas New Buyers (first time attending the fair on-site):

1. Register or log into the Buyer Service System on the Canton Fair official website and go to the homepage.
2. Click on “Canton Fair Badges” > “Overseas Buyer Badge” in the left-side menu bar. Update your company and personal information, then select “Generate invitation letter simultaneously” and click “Submit.”
   Note: There’s a limit on the number of invitation applications, so make sure all your information is correct.
3. Click on “Invitation Letter” > “My Invitation Letters” in the left-side menu bar to view, print, or download your Canton Fair invitation.

Once you get the invitation letter, you can apply for a business visa to China.
